This is Ryo Miyaichi. He was on trial at arsenal and impressed. He then went to have a trial at Ajax, but suffered a broken leg in a behind closed doors game. Arsenal ended their pursuit of him. However, the injury was not as bad as first feared, and soon enough, Arsene Wenger snapped the youngster up.
He joined up with the Arsenal squad when he turned 18, however, we has been sent out on loan to Dutch team Feyernoord to gain valuable experience, and his work permit application was rejected.
